Proceeds of the BCC's annual Raffle go to fund the Bondurant Community Club's expenses and charitable donations.
Raffle ticket sales are on-going through the summer. Tickets become available as soon as our own June S. arrives in the Basin, much like the robin in springtime. Tickets can be purchased from June and from other enthusiastic folks throughout the summer at the annual Bondurant BBQ, at any BCC meeting or event, and - last chance! - right up until the drawing at Heritage Days.
Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or $5.00 for six (6).
Winning raffle tickets are drawn at Heritage Days, promptly at 1:00 pm. (Need not be present to win).

"Horse Country"
This year's Claudia Roberts original hand-stitched quilt is called "Horse Country". This is an original design, featuring blocks of brightly colored, western themed prints.
Right, see 2021's beautiful "Horse Country". It would also serve beautifully as a layered piece or lap quilt.

This year's generous donation from Sharon Nethercott and Mrs. Dockham's family, is a framed collection of Wildlife Families.
Featuring bull, cow and calf members of the Antelope, Deer and Elk families, the collection is a lovely example of Mrs. Dockahm's work.

This year's Claudia Roberts original hand-stitched quilt is aptly titled "Ancient Dancers". This is an original design, featuring blocks of brightly colored, western themed prints.
Right, see 2016's beautiful "Happy Trails", looking very cozy on a twin bed. It would also serve beautifully as a layered piece or lap quilt.

"Elk Family"

"Buckaroo"
A perennial favorite of the annual Raffle is a hand-stitched quilt by Hoback Ranch's resident textile artist, Claudia Roberts.
This year's creation, "Buckaroo", right, is a lively adaptation of a the traditional "Tumbling Blocks" pattern. In bold black, white and red, the quilt will be a beautiful addition to any western decor!
"Wyoming Icons"
This year's high quality, framed and matted print by Mrs. Eileen Dockham's features Wyoming's official state icons: Bison, Indian Paintbrush, and the Meadowlark.
In addition to being a fun-fact display, the prints are lovely in their own right, photo left.

A perennial favorite of the annual Raffle is a hand-stitched quilt by Hoback Ranch's resident textile artist, Claudia Roberts.
This year's creation, "Memories", right, demonstrates creative use of the traditional nine-square quilt pattern. Dark and light shades cascade across the face of the quilt adding a modern touch to the traditional fabrics and patterns. The quilt is approximately 6' x 5' - an oversized lap quilt. A title and signature block adorn the contrasting back.
This fine quality, framed print features one of Mrs. Eileen Dockham's carefully rendered scenes: Dandelions in the field.
Mrs. Dockham's parents homesteaded in Bondurant, and Eileen grew up and raised her family in the Basin. She loved art and became well-known for her work in oils and watercolors. Her favorite topic was the western scenery that she loved. Her landscapes, wildflower and wildlife portraits are widely collected. Claudia's "Summer Breeze" is the perfect picnic quilt!
Tom Foreman won the quilt raffle this year. He is a visitor who bought the winning ticket from his friends Tom and Ginger Rooks, and Tom will surely treasure it as a reminder of his visit to Bondurant.

Once again, Pauline Robertson sold a winning ticket - this year to Barbara Pape of Daniel Junction. Barbara will enjoy the charming "Wildlife Family" print on her wall for years to come.
2012's winning raffle tickets were both sold by Pauline Robertson. Pauline has a knack for selling the winning tickets! Look for her in advance of next year's raffle.
"Feeling Happy" was crafted by Hoback Ranches' own Claudia Roberts. The quilt features bright multi-colored squares, twinkling brilliant white highlights and a bold double border.
Justin Mulinix of Centerville, MD., won this quilt. Congratulations, Justin, and enjoy your wonderful souvenir of Bondurant!

This beautiful full-sized quilt was crafted by Hoback Ranches' own Claudia Roberts. "Dancing with the Gods" is rendered in modern colors but evokes an ancient mythology.
The quilt was won by Pat Ehrman, who is thrilled to have a beautiful quilt for her guest room.
This fine quality, framed print features one of Mrs. Eileen Dockham's most beloved scenes: A majestic Eagle surveying his domain.
Mrs. Dockham was a life-long resident of Bondurant. Her parents homesteaded seven miles off the main road and Eileen grew up here, built a life with Billy Dockham and raised her children in the Bondurant Basin.
She loved art and became well-known for her work in oils and watercolors. Her favorite topic was the western scenery that she loved. Her landscapes, wildflower and wildlife portraits are widely collected.

A perennial favorite at the Raffle is a hand-stitched quilt created by Hoback Ranches' own Claudia Roberts. 2010's beautiful lap quilt, right, was Claudia's original "Arrow Head" design.
This exciting fabric collage was the Bondurant School children's art project this year. The piece was designed and created by the kids themselves. Each child created his or her own personal design for their square, which incorporated an outdoor theme, left.
The colorful creation was a sincere tribute to our beautiful Wyoming home - as seen through a child's eyes.
The winner of this raffle item generously donated it to the Bondurant Elementary School, where it is prominently displayed in the hallway to this day.
This fine quality, framed print, right, features one of Mrs. Eileen Dockham's most beloved scenes: Big horn sheep in the high country. Prints of Mrs. Dockham's paintings are made possible through the generosity her family.
